These are among the earliest photographs we have from the Kegger Backpack —
most from the 1980s and early 1990s, when cameras were film, prints were rare,
and nobody was thinking about archiving. Dates and years are uncertain on many.

A Sierra snow plant pushing up through the fallen timber. These vivid red stalks appear just after snowmelt — a sure sign of June in the high Sierra.
